Today I noticed that a JIG does work! But it's an non-bricked or somehow not working device. You could give it a try...
But if you flashed a ROM WITH a bootloader, then it won't help
Also if KIES or a problem while flashing with ODIN did kill your device.

i saw someone here trying to revive it with a jig but no success.....i guess u'll have to prepare to be killed by mom

sorry i don't have link...and thread is mos likely barried betwen other threads by now...anyway if you have samsung centre in your country...then they can fix it....if it's hardbricked they just change board and that's it

maybe it is...but...huh...it has to do sth with pins on board and some chips...simple...beyond my knowledge

usb jig doesnt work.. but in other g3's there the download mode pops-out maybe its just in the bootloader or something. still searching.. i found the jtag.. can this put my phone into download mode and then flash? still searching.. ^^

doesnt show anything.. any signs of life = 0..
tried the jig it doesnt come up.. but when i put it on other galaxy 3 (not bricked) it goes into download mode.. mybe its in the bootloader or something.. can i flash my os into memory card?
Nice idea about the memory card. There is something like that on Sony's PSP ...
But the problem is: how should your phone know that it has to boot from SD ... as it does not know that (and there is no chance to tell it that if your phone is bricked) this will not work.
