I dont know why you got that error msg
but as I told you I never experienced that msg
I am very sure if you really got that error, I know your downloaded file is either corrupted or in-complete. check your internet connection.

I installed the ROM and everything is fine except from the wifi
Looks like the new wifi manager is corrupt or something...
Can you fix it?
It stuck on connecting... and sometimes it shows "obtaining IP address" and then he going back to connecting but nothing happened...

Yes, WiFi not behaving properly specially when you change the kernel...
I did a steps to make the WiFi working here again:
1. flashed the ROM
2. reboot the phone - let it complete initialization (2 mins)
3. On the WiFi - don't wait just restart right-away
4. Your WiFi is working now...

If you restarted already your phone I am sure your WiFi now is working

This is happened when you flashed the ROM without wipe or you restored your aps using other Backup/Restored aps... I think you are using Titanium? try other backup apps... for now to fix this you need to flashed the ROM full wipe then do not restore the apps.

no,i full wiped,then i flashed v2.4.13 . i want install the Titanium,but i can't install the Titanium,and other apk also no!
all apk can't install!
even root explorer ,so i can't modify the datadata!

Sorry, maybe if we see that SGS V4 are really stable, we will start working on themes but i know there are many who are working on the v4 themes now. let see

If anyone can help me getting WI-FI correctly it will be great.

I flashed the fix zip, but doesn't work. It shows Wi-Fi in the status bar....but it has no connection ..

Please help.. thanks

Hi asrock bro, i think i found a bug in 2.4.16 I9000 rom. In whatsapp i am unable to change the notification sound when i go for changing the sound it takes me to this screen.

    Upgrading from Samsung Galaxy S (stock ROM)
    • Root your device and install ClockworkMod Recovery or Using ODIN flash CF-Root or SpeedMod Kernel
    • Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (VolumeUp+Home+Power)
    • Do a Nandroid Backup or your choice backup application (optional)
    • WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
    • Install the ROM from internal sdcard
    • It will restart and continue looping – remove battery and:
    1. go back to recovery
    2. Install the ROM from internal sdcard
    • Install Desired kernel (optional• I suggest stick to stock kernel)
    • Done/reboot

    Upgrading from Gingerbread, CM7, MIUI GB, or any GB Custom ROM
    • Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (VolumeUp+Home+Power)

    4.0.4 Base for i9000

    unfortunately after a day of using and testing, i can not recommend it for daily used, I used it for so many calls/text/internet/BT/media - RIL was lost at once and needed to restart the phone and it work again, so need more modification and testing... if everything are going to be stable, I will released it for all of you...
