[Q] New Ascend p6

Hi !
I just bought my ascend P6 - U06 .
It's the international model , I guess. I see it is B107.
I want to update to 4.4 without rooting the phone.Is the update 4.4 chinese version the official firmware , for non rooted phones ?
If I update with that , will i lose my waranty ?

Or should I wait for the international version to be released via OTA ?

Update to international B125 then Wait, KK is round the corner.

Will I need root in order to upgrade to B125 ?
Does it have ggaps ?

Has a gapps and you don't need root to upgrade your device. All international firmware has a gapps.

Can I update directly from B107 to B125 ?
Can I update from the phone or do I really really need a sdcard ?

Use Update function from the phone menu.

You can install Chinese 4.4 without rooting. You wont lose warranty.

Will kitkat update improve headphone sound quality and volume? I bought this phone yesterday and sound is awful compared to my old crappy phone.

You can update from internal memory.

Did you try PowerAmp ? or something similar .
I have a pair of JVC ExtremeExplosive and with poweramp sound quality is great

Yeah, poweramp with my usual bass+treble eq setting. Also tried with Equalizer app. Still crappy and very low volume. I've soundmagic E10-s.

Not sure if I should root myself and follow that fix or will kitkat improve quality aswell on stock.

Kitkat is just around the corner,I guess.At least thats what they are saying.
Better wait first imo.
