[ROM][ICS] TWICS-UX now with TouchWiz UX and S-Voice [25.05.12]

MadLuca and MadMax97 from mrmad.net put together this “samsung-like” CyanogenMod9 based ROM. The goal is to get a stable, complete AND bugfree Android 4 ROM with TouchwWiz look and feel.
To accomplish this, CM9’ nightly was chosen as a base:it is the best-coded Android 4 ROM (in our oppinion) without any major bugs like the ‘media bug’ and ‘external SD-Card’ bug.

Installation-Notes

If you are already using an ICS ROM, you only have to wipe cache and dalvik cache before upgrading to TWICS. If you are using one of wendigogo’s april-Data-Fix you most probably will have to full wipe.

Please full wipe and flash the zip twice if you are coming from Gingerbread, SlimICS or you are facing any problems.

Recommendations:

-Use Trebuchet Launcher if you have problems with touchwiz launcher. Samsung Apps und Widgets will work anyway.
-Nova and Apex can be downloaded from market. Remove Trebuchet in order to get more space. Move the nova or apex launcher apk from data folder to system/apps folder and change permissions (set them like all other system apps with root explorer) to make the widget screen work.

[ROM][ICS] TWICS CM9 - rock solid, fast & samsungnized ROM [V.2.62][10.05.12]

Recommended System settings:

Developer Options: - enable "force GPU-Rendering " Apps wich may crash when forcing GPU Rendering

Performance: Memory Magagement-> enable"allow purging of assets"

You can change switch the storages here: setting/storage/ hit menu button then storage configuration.

Semaphore (for TWICS versions before 2.5):

- "Governors" -> SmartassV2

- enable "Lock min scaling frequen..."

- "Schedulers" -> Simple I/O

- enable "Netfilter" (for tethering)

- enable "Deep Idle"

- enable "TUN" (forVPN)

- Semaphore Brightness -> for better auto brightness than android standards

Voodoo Sound:

- enable "Smart Amplifier"

- enable "Bass Boost"

- enable "Tune speaker for music"

- enable "Hi-fi record"

Will try soon, as you know we are having a new nightly every 2 or 3 days (in fact we have April 19 nightly right now, and 1.0.1s Semaphore). Are you going to update this rom so frequently?. Thx for your work and good luck

We will try our best. In fact those CM9-builds are Nightlys, they need to be tested before. And there won't be that many changes from Nightly to Nightly. If there are bigger changes, let us know and we will try to update as fast as possible.

I'm using CM9 12april now, I will try this rom tomorrow.

If you will keep this rom stable, don't give it updates nightly, may be week or two with major updates.

A way to disable auto rotate of home screen on tw4 launcher (if possible). I don't want to turn it off totally, just the launcher.

Is Viber fix included?? If It's not, modifying bluid.prop should still work Samsung framework?
