Here's a build from December before partition changes. The locale is set for GB and can be set to US by editing build.prop if necessary. Let me know if something isn't working correctly, or if anyone wants to use new partition.

Unfortunately way too Laggy for everyday use..
- BT Voice dialing typically takes 4-6 seconds to respond
- Camera doesn't work
- frequent "Keep has stopped" errors
- frequent play store crashes
- wish it had power option for 'Reboot to Recovery'

Fresh install with modem

Great to see this post. I am working to help a friend move from the dark ages of stock 2.3.6 to this rom. I do this all the time and the install instructions on the OP and files are GREAT for this phone.

His only issue now is that he gets the same text message multiple times because the phone does not report back to the carrier that the message arrived.

My Question is: If I upgrade to this ROM will the issue be resolved? Does a new modem come with this ROM. I know normally it does not.

Thanks for any and all help.

No modem doesn't come with it,The latest baseband (modem) is in post #3 of this thread its UVLK2, I've been using it for a long time now, no issues @ all.

This was my first Android phone, just wanted to check the threads to see how far it made it. Pretty amazing! Eventually upgraded, but this phone was awesome (Until I upgraded to an S III)

    Installation
    Install at your own risk

    - First time flashing CM11 to your Galaxy Exhibit (or coming from another ROM)?
    1. Boot into existing recovery and create a Nandroid Backup!
    2. Install at least ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.4.5 or TWRP 2.6.3.0
    3. Reboot recovery into at least ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.4.5 or TWRP 2.6.3.0
    4. CWM: WIPE dalvik-cache, format: data, system, and cache. TWRP: WIPE dalvik-cache, data, system, and cache.
    5. ** Optionally back-up sdcard0 before install and format it in recovery if experiencing install issues **
    6. Install the ROM (without gapps)
    7. Reboot system
    8. After system boots, boot back into recovery and install KK Google Apps.
    9. Wipe dalvik-cache and cache. Reboot.
    - Upgrading from CM11
    1. Boot into existing recovery and create a Nandroid Backup!
    2. CWM: WIPE dalvik-cache and format cache. TWRP: WIPE dalvik-cache and cache.
    3. Install the ROM
    4. Reboot
    Known Issues

    • ART takes ~15 minutes to install and some apps may not be compatible.
    • Display remains on while device is powered off and charging
