Have a generic MID A13 that has been wiped completely. Trying to get a recovery/OS on
So I'm an N4 owner just tinkering. Not much knowhow (Managed to follow guides to root and unlock my phones from the G1 to the N1 to today, but still slow on the uptake) but will try!
The tab is an "MID Tablet PC", generic Chinese A13 thing, came with 4.0.4 i think. No model number details in the box. I did enough searching to find that I'm not the first person to have this issue, but didn't find a sol'n.
I got it to boot into recovery ONCE after trying all day yesterday. I think it had to do w/ recognizing windows. No button combos seemed to do the trick (pow/vol etc). Don't know how I did it tbh. Once I was there i figured I'd use ADB to factory reset, but I hadn't even set up adb with it on and could get it to boot to bootloader, or factory reset, so I figured I'd wipe data, but I might've messed up with "Wipe All", and now need something to flash to it even if i CAN get it back to recovery...
Right now I get a small android icon, followed by a green splashscreen that would've lead to the old scrolling "android" screen, but now has no OS. I can get it recognized with ADB!
ADB Reboot/bootloader/recovery all take me to the main splashscreen though
Downloaded a CWM copy if needed, and an original rom (for Q88 found online)
THANKYOU THANKYOU for any help.
