Problem with your gApps. As he reported he had no probs. Ask @PuiuMarius2000 which gApps he is using but the CM 11 gApps should work fine

The bugs will be same as CM 11 and I think if you can use CM 11 as a daily driver, this won't be worse than that

For aokp just switch to the included (aokp) theme if the battery icon color bothers you.
