It's weird with the bootlooping I'm experiencing. Changed from freedom agressive kernel to the universal freedom kernel AND lowered the oc and still get the bootloop. It ONLY occurs at night between 1-3am and with music playing through my earbuds. Battery pull seems to correct the problem until the next night at approximately the same time of night. I've even tried turning off some scheduled actions like titanium backup and antivirus scans to no avail. I don't believe it is a kernel problem because it also happened when I was using the stock kernel. Maybe a bad flash but everything is working great until the bootloop.
Are dealing with voltages too? You said it only occurs at night, that makes it even more weird.
So I'm an idiot. Camera is all good. I fixed permissions and is working just fine.

Hey I just switched from 3.5 to 3.7 and noticed the trick to turn the music to the next song via the side volume rocker when the screens off doesn't work on 3.7. Is this fixed on the latest build?

hey ralph, I too was having battery drain too fast problems with 1.4.1. I tried reverting back to 1.3.7 and was gettin install errors. I reformatted my sd card, installed 1.4.4 and I'm back in bizzness. I'm posting this in hopes it might help others.
I did not bake that in yet.
O **** my bad man lol I forgot to flash the hacked hotspot zip which also does this trick also. I thought it came baked in. Good to know.

Can't believe the handful of ROMs I've tried, most have had this issue, though some were sense 3.0. Was this a PITA to track down?
EDIT : Everything is working real good with 1.4.4 update. No issues, browser reload looks to be fixed. Thanks again man, I'll try n get few more people to check out your ROM.
EDIT2 : Have you thought about baking in newer version of Swype ? Or is it kept the way it is for some sort if legality compliance? Also, can it be safely removed and install new apk?

Thanks Raafaell. I think I figured out the problem. Had partitioned my sd card for another rom I was using and I think that ext partition was reaking havoc with my phone. problem seems to be gone now. Thanks again.

so i am not sure its because of the new ROM or that my phone is almost 2 years old, but it does not seem to vibrate anymore on incoming calls or texts when set to vibrate. other than that this ROM keeps getting better and better!

Basically the newer Swype apps are a bit sleeker, in functionality very similar so it doesn't bring much to the table if you didn't care for swype in the first place ... astheticaly though, instead of having the vertical pop-up with suggested words, they are displayed directly above the keyboard similar to stock gingerbread keybaord.The problem for the browser to be reloading all the time was a memory tweak conflict, I haven't tried the new swype app yet, is it better than the actual?

About my question on removing Swype, I think that's just my paranoia kicking in from stock ROM days when swype was forced in and you no longer could use the betas that were floating around. I take it Swype can be uninstalled just as any other pre-installed non-system app?
I'm not seeing this ... Are you talking about the notification pull down ? And I was about to say grab a screen cap, but it won't do a screen cap if you're using the touch screen.

- Q: Why aren't new apps being moved to SDCARD?
- A: Make sure you have your SDCARD partitioned, also upgrade your SDCARD extension to ext3 or ext4.
- Q: Why is my camera not working as it's supposed to?
- A: You have probably flashed another Kernel other than the Stock, make sure the Kernel is fully compatible with this OTA version..
- Q: My Battery is draining like crazy, why?
- A: There could be many reasons, but make sure you calibrate you battery after installing the ROM, Battery Calibration app is a good way to go. Also disable Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth when not in use. Learn more here.
- Q: I have made a request and did not see the it done, what happened?
- A: Unfortunately I only have my free time to develop the ROM, please be patient and you will see it eventually.
