Gonna take a look at the Ultra...I've had 2 big phones/phablets....promise not to spread this around, but I was one of the
first to grab a Dell Streak when it came out, even considering it was tied to at&t's sucky rom, and Dell didn't know how to
market it, or promote it, it served well for around a year. When I heard about the note, I went for it sight unseen. It's been
a great device for almost 2 years. Wasn't even considering any other device, until Samsung started messing around with
boot lockers, knox, and now regional sim locks. Yeah, it appears that the regional sim lock can be bypassed, but what
ticks me off about the whole thing is, if I'm going to pay full retail, shouldn't it come WITHOUT restrictions? That's why I
ended up here
If you guys go back far enough, I had one of the first, although not a "smart" phone, at the time, it had a HUGE screen.
Anyone remember the Sony/Ericsson days? I had one of the first S-710A phones (see my sig line). I like big phones
and at the time, the trend was smaller & smaller.
The Z Ultra is now in serious consideration. One, because I had 2 sony phones before, two, aluminum over plastic,
three, hopefully (you guys know more than I do about this device) less restrictions on this, not to mention it appears
a tad less expensive than the Sammy N3.
I'll be lurking around for the next couple months....
