IIRC you have to hit volume up & power to get to the option menu in stock recovery

I mean when i bay a new nexus and enter the recovery mode, I will see this triangle??

all of this could have been anwsered if you had search!

vol up+power at the red triangle screen will open the stock recovery's menu.

this same topic has been discussed a lot.

use the search. (and yes its normal for the stock recovery to behave that way)
