I am confused.
There is no "gps.conf" in my /system/etc directory...
But there is a file named "agps_profiles_conf.xml".
Will this work for my device anyway? (Acer Gallant DUO - Android 4.0)
What is the reason to carry string "xtra.bin" to the next line in gps.conf (for Russian Federation or Uzbekistan, for example)?I originally posted this in Galaxy S II development, but reckoned it might be useful for any of you. These are ClockworkMod flashable gps.conf files for all available countries and all continents.

xtra.bin

Thx

Hi,
Nice list but isn't there a file for Austria?
Thanx
Sent from my Desire HD
Downloaded the Norway.zip and...
Love it! Made my position accuracy go from 2000 meters down to 100!
I really recomend this!
Quick question th0, is it possible to use two of these at the same time? Because i travel to my neighbour country Sweeden very often and it could be usefull to have the same accuracy over there.
Quality difference isn't noticable I think, but if you travel a lot I would just go for Europe.Sorry for noobing around --> should I just extract the zip file and copy the inserted gps.conf to the etc folder? What (quality)difference does it make using the europe zip instead of the switzerland zip alone?
Hmm, not too sure. Just move this file to /system/etc and replace with Rootexplorer will do the same.Hi.
Sorry about my noobiness, I forgot that.
But it failed anyway with "status 0"
I've then toggled signature verification on an retried, and it says "signature verification failed" and " Installation aborted"
Is it normal to fail the signature verification if on?
