I figured that since I am getting the controller for the Fire TV it would be pretty cool if I could play some emulators on my PC. Has anyone tried it?

Can the Game Controller be used on a PC

I just tried on my Mac running mavericks. (2012mbp) It synced great, but my mouse ran to the bottom left corner perpetually, it was difficult to stop until I remembered the controller's got batteries. Syncs with windows 8 and works great on "The wonderful end of the world", no obvious problems.
Tried a second time on the mac, and same result. You can fight the cursor's down/left drag with the left stick, but it's terribly unusable.
So I went ahead and bought it anyway. Works great in PCSX2. Windows 7.
