I believe this charger was mentioned in another power adapter thread. If it's the one I remember you may want to be very careful. That one produced very dirty power, enough to make the transformer misbehave. If you can once you get it try checking out out with a meter and verify both voltage and ripple.

you might be able to solder on a LC filter to smooth out the power. basically just a fat capacitor and a ferrite ring.

Yeah, I'm not sure how well it works. I don't own this but it was one of the recommended items that showed up when I was looking at those Khomo cables.
