Hmm... it seems that UnderVolt is broken: i can set really crazy values ( like setting every voltage near to zero) without any crash. I thought this was due to a "safety limit" included in the kernel, like franco did, but i also tried setting 625-700mV and no crash came.

is this the same as the question you just answered?? Is initramfs same as init.d \?
initramfs - insecure (your ROM must have busybox) <<<<<that is straight from the OP
Trying to learn something here!
Thanks for your help!
Cheers

Some ROMs don't support init.d. the kernel does though. If your ROM doesn't have the init.d folder in /system/etc than you can add support for init.d with an app. Search xda or Google uni init.d. works well.

That's not strictly true - all you need is kernel support. init.d works perfectly well on stock ROM with motley kernel. You can however add init.d support to a stock ROM and stock kernel combination with an app

Edit: and forgot to mention, busy box is needed too!

I downloaded the kernel, installed the recommended app and set the voltages and didn't crash. Now, on a second appempt, I managed to get it crash. Maybe they didn't really apply... How can I check, if not by letting it crash?

EDIT: other attempt, set frequency min-max to 1 GHz and undervolted by 25mV steps. Now I'm on 625mV and no crash... Seems quite random.
