I don't know how to connect device becuase I'll try it this week, but here are instructions:

1. Connect phone (flashmode or something, or mount system).
2. Extract x8 toolbox.zip in new folder.
3. If you have some of the modules installed go to that folder/modules/ and delete modules what you have example.ax8mt and leave modules you want to install.
4. Right click on x8toolbox.cmd and RUN as ADMINISTRATOR.
You'll see black x8toolbox menu
Code:
1.Root 2.Recovery... 99. EXIT
5. Click for example 5 and enter for modules, click for example: 2 DualTouch and Enter ,you'll see:
Code:
processing comand. . . waiting for device. . .

and try to connect on other way if doesn't go on :D

This is it.

Don't forget on THX BUTTON!

IMO no need to connect in flashmode

Also I am getting FC while opening market after enabling JIT and free xperia recovery on my stock 2..1.1.C.0.0

EDIT: That was due to an app which I deleted from system

Unlock Bootloader

Can I use this to unlock my bootloader without flashing stock rom first?
I am on GDX28b ans want to go to Alfs Kernel instead of using the stock kernel.

Flashtool is a flashing software that can be used to :
Flash original Images (Android 1.6, 2.1, 2.3 Images)
Root your phone
Install Recovery, Busybox, custom kernels
Clean your Rom (remove /system/apps apps of your choice) (Be careful, unless you really know what you do, do not modify the default list. This can make your phone stuck at the SE Logo)
Clear dalvik cache
Optimize (install of JIT v2) (Disabled in 0.4, will readd it as a plugin for 2.1 phones only)
Customize (installs apps found in the custom/apps folder of the flashtool)
Clean uninstalled (remove any references to system apps removed in the Clean (root needed) step)
Edit any text file on the device
Rebrand your device

I dont mean rooting, i mean unlocking Bootloader.
Is this possible with Flashtool?
I cant find it in the list.

I didnt go back to stock kernel to try if it works.
And it worked.
Unlocking Bootloader with Flashtool directly from Stock Kernel/GingerDX.
Flashing naa-ics using Flashtool
and finally installing IScreamDX by CWM, partitioning SD-Card with CWM and doing a full wipe.
Everything is fine until now.
Thanks a lot.

hi I have a hard brick x8 that only loads the sony erricson screen.

I can't get it into flash mode i.e. turn the phone off and hold back

Can anyone help me?

Edit: solved by pulling out the battery while holding back and while keeping the usb connected

Thank you so much dude. Your process helped me a lot to install xRecovery. I used to do this for last 1.5 years like a charm but this time I failed several time. Your process helped me to succeed.
