just call fed ex and tell them you couldn't get tracking number from the shipper. then give your name and address. then they will tell you whatever info you want. i did that earlier today and worked for me. they said my factory version gps dongle should be here Tuesday. I'm not in a rush because i already have an engineering sample one.

He's Quebecois and speaks French.

In French, the word for 'to request' or 'to ask' is 'demander' and it's not uncommon for a French native to translate that into English as 'demand'. In French 'je demande' or 'vous demandez' is not considered a negative since it literally means the same as 'to ask'.

Maybe you might consider that there ARE non-English first language people on this continent - especially in Quebec.

No offense meant, I'm sure.

I initially had this problem. Turned out the number 0 in my serial number was actually the letter O. Still looks like the number 0 to me.

On a seperate note, can someone upload a picture with the dongle attached to their tfp.

Submitted on 4/19/12 and still in Submitted status. Hopefully my dongle will ship soon since my TFP is gray. Wifi is very good and GPS is acceptable now but am hoping for a big improvement in GPS.

I instinctively thought the lock would snap to locked when plugging it in to the bottom of the Transformer but, like yours, it didn't either.

FYI for everyone else, the GPS attachment doesn't turn on until the lock slide is manually engaged to the lock position.

I think one person got it, from what I remember I think he was located in Vancouver. Can't remember what thread it was in though. I'm in the same boat, registered on the 16th but my status is still "submitted"..moments like this remind me that I'm not a patient person :)

    Pretty simple... go to the one gps dongle thread, and use the search button.

    Hey don't blame me... I received multiple reports today from your fellow XDA members complaining about the number of GPS dongle threads in this section, and requesting a Mod combine some of the threads.... guess you can't make everyone happy.

    Just delivered, put it on and it works great! Worked much better after a reboot.

    Inside the house, solid brick house, got 12 in view 8 in use, 20 ft accuracy.

    On a separate note, my TP stopped recognizing the GPS adapter and I had to reboot to get it to show again. It had been attached and removed a few times. Is there a safe disconnect procedure? Maybe I should not connect or disconnect it while the TP display is still on.
