Does Anyone here Bought Fake SIV Battery Before???
well…I ordered a battery last week and it was suppose to be OEM battery for my Samsung Galaxy SIV from ebay. As Soon as I received this battery a few days ago( the battery looks legit and exactly like the one on my GS4), I plugged it into oulet and tried to charge it. But something weird happened since then! If I turn on my phone, it would restart again and again after the Samsung Logo appear on display. Several times later, it finally turned on.
Cuz I was not at home recently so I borrowed my friend’s MPJ extended battery he bought from their website and tested the phone again. My S4 then boots smoothly and work perfectly so I was confirmed that the OEM battery is a fake one! Besides, with the fake OEM even though it has full bars, the phone also constantly loses connection.
My friend then told me he has saw a vedio about fake battery which NFC doesn’t work ealier on and I remember mine fake one also claimed it has NFC. Cuz my friend’s GS4 MPJ battery also have NFC, so I deciede to test my NFC…and yes…the result is the fake OEM battery was not responding at all…just regret to buy it…never buy OEM batteries for cheap anymore!! Anyway I just stop using that fake battery in case more problems occur… I have ordered a same new battery as my friend’s this time and now waiting for it…
The fake OEM battery is printed as “CELL MADE IN JAPAN, ASSEMBLED IN CHINA”…I am not sure it is a point to distinguish a fake OEM battery? It would be helpful if anyone tell me more about how to distinguish a fake battery
