Why does my phone slow down all the time on every sense 4 rom? I have tried every kernel and still it starts off fast but gets insanely laggy. I am running greenify and have my kernel overclocked but still eventually it just gets laggy.

Yes it's really nonsense. The phoje should become faster after cache is build, but it's the opposite. It's impossible to stay without reflashing for more than 2 weeks

And it's on every sense rom so I don't think k it's anything the devs can do about it. It always makes me go back to a JB rom even tho I prefer sense but I can't take the lag anymore it's insane.

Couldn't agree more. I have made a nandroid of the ROM, right after I set it the way I want and once in a while restore it, when I feel the phone is becoming slow. I know this isn't the solution, but I don't think there'such that can be done

Original HTC One S Ville C2 is not behaving like this..!!
Yes, I know we have bit low RAM..but not that much less that even Sense 4.x can not handles for a long time..

To Devs - m0narx, shnizlon & ivicask..

Guys, we know that you're busy with JB project, but when you get some tiny time, then Please look forward for this stability issue...

ROM is unusable after 3-4 weeks, Super lagy..!! You have to reflash again...Kernel changing doesn't improve at all(as above said and I experienced as well..)

P.S. I have reflashed this ROM around 15-20 times after release..

And i never. And with turbo boost I have right now 180 mb free memory, around 130 aps. I use greenify as well. Rom is perfect.

I've only reflashed this Rom once back in February.. update turbo boost as new versions came out. Only lag to report is the stupid keyboard

Is there another method for changing the device hostname?
The method above didn't work on my device

I followed all steps on terminal having root permision on while checking "getprop net.hostname" it show the changed name but after restarting the device, it reappears as android_AAEGGKFKGKG.etc
