I asked Telco a similar question in preparation for the roll out of 4g near me, could I use a splitter from my Yagi to feed two patchleads? :-
Yes the 4G port is 4G data only (no voice), my advice would be to continue operating just on the 3G port. You could use two patch leads into the one antenna but it will halve the signal strength of the antenna as it will cause half the electrons to flow down one side of a splitter box and half down the other side.
So, I could purchase another patch lead as I have a directional Yagi and an omnidirectional, but I dont imagine I shall. My main use of my phone at home is for broadband via the hotspot, where my phone sits when it is connected to the antenna it still receives calls even if the patchlead isnt plugged in. Telco are happy and quick at answerring any questions, I dont hesitate in recommending them, they rescued me by making an unuseable two year contract viable once more.
