Uhmm, dunno. How could I test it?[/QUOTE]

use any weather app and without truning GPS on, it should detect your loaction based on the cell tower data received!

Anyways downloading now your ROM...

This is nice but can't we do anything about the buttons? I mean, it's a waste of screen space. Modifying our already installed capacitative buttons and physical button seems to be the better way to go.

If you open maps or some weather app, does it get your location without the gps enabled?

Nice to see a asop rom that works almost full.
Fit my needs. Will report after testing.

Would love to see the .zip that will remove the softkeys :)

Ps: Grab the dropbox links. This will get blocked soon.

I can make a mediafire link if OP agrees.

Thanks

Yeah, I thought about that. Of course you can make a mirror if you share the link with me so I can update OP with it.

I'll provide update .zip to remove capacitive buttons soon.

Awesome finally some good news. hope this stays pure ics for note.

Yes it will :)

it can be done

1. decompile framework-res.apk
2.open /res/values/bools.xml
3.find "config_showNavigationBar" and set to false

to turnn the capacitive lights, arrays.xml needs to be edited
4. and the recompile

With kernel does this aosp use?
And does it run on 1.2 or 1.4mhz?

Thanks for tip :)

165mb only:confused::confused:
am i missing somethin??

What's wrong? :)

i thought that was too big for an asop rom. :D

Samsung bloatware ( not for everyone) adds the size

A lot of useless code;)

Yep, lots of dependencies, lots of samsung proprietary libs.

Latest (and only till now) CF-Root from ICS leak.

Rom not as smooth as tr's ics though :(

I don't know what can be smoother. :)
