Will pm you afh link for radio now so you can write up sticky.

Would you mind dumping me the following partition?
mmcblk0p35

adb shell

su (if you need to to get a #)

dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p35 of=/sdcard/mmcblk0p35

exit (exit again if you need to, to get back to a normal prompt)

OMFG!!! Thank you guys sooo much! I'm back up and running!!!
awsome!!! glad to hear it. ida never thunk you could flash a recovery to your radio partition and then just flash back a radio and be good to go  dfinately glad it worked out for you.

Oh hell no. I love XDA. I'm not like most people out there. I worked for T-Mobile for over 3 years and it was difficult trying to explain things to people who just expect so much. Not sure where I was going with that, but no. I knew with patience I would have my phone back, and really was only without it for a little over a day. Thanks again to everyone who helped!

I flashed recovery via fastboot and all is good. Now just waiting for RUU and ROMs.

kudos from me too on being patient and getting it working. hopefully the big lesson learned for everyone is do not use rom manager. do everything manually in recovery.

Yes good job guys!!! thehomebiscuit sorry I didn't get right back to you last night you caught me when I was in the middle of flashing some builds at an attempt at trying to fix the update-binary I was having some issues with..

To any interested Verizon Max users if you want to help me out with these builds PM me. I need someone with a little more knowledge then me with the binary. That's exactly where I'm stuck right now. I have the updater script done, everything in the script matches that of the stock Verizon Max and runs fine.. So if someone can help me with the binary I can upload all the builds and everyone can start using them as a base for stock/custom/themed 4.3 sense 5.5 roms....

awsome!!! glad to hear it. ida never thunk you could flash a recovery to your radio partition and then just flash back a radio and be good to go  dfinately glad it worked out for you.

kudos from me too on being patient and getting it working. hopefully the big lesson learned for everyone is do not use rom manager. do everything manually in recovery.

Actually, I think it was my fault... I was being impatient and trying to flash a recovery from terminal emulator on my device instead of waiting until I got home to use fastboot. Extra shame on me considering I could have just downloaded the needed stuff to my MBP in order to safely complete this task without bricking my Max.

I am curious, how to you get the partition list?

Edit: Also, does this apply to all variants/carrier versions?

You get the top list from cat proc/partitions. You get the bottom from cat proc/emmc

I filled the top with the bottom, then filled in the a few based on what I've looked at,and the knowledge of a few things that have been in the same location since s3 devices. The rest I guess by location and block size based on m7s partition table. Like I said, its my best guess ;)

I've looked at the proc/emmc and proc/partition results from sprint, vzw, and gsm and they do all appear to be the same :)

a user has inadvertantly borked his radio,we need to find a copy to try and get his phone working. not having any ruu's or OTA packages yet,we need a verizon one max owner to dump his/her radio and upload somewhere for us.

the radio is partition 34,please dump using the following:
adb shell

su (if you need to to get a #)

dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p34 of=/sdcard/mmcblk0p34

exit (exit again if you need to, to get back to a normal prompt)

upload the radio image and post/pm a link along with the other info

thanks!

Would this help? http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?p=48350139

Somewhere on Earth
Hi guys, I know this might be irrelevant but my Verizon MAX lost Data connection on HSPA and GSM. Full signal bars with call and text but no data at all. I tried everything ( factory reset, manually set APN, reflash stock etc,.) but no luck. I bought this Max from eBay. Yesterday 3G just fine but today no 3G at all. I also called Network provider to check and they are saying my 3G is working just fine. Popped my SIM to a USB 3G and HSPA works just fine. Please help. I'm desperate :(

no prollem,it should be fine. did you have the folloing for an md5?

    mmcblk0p34 4b96983d7fff7a7fa17134369ef6a9ac

if so,the following is for the zip i uploaded:
    vzw_max_radio.zip ba7f0302040731949a4db3cb0c9c4e98

    download this:
    https://www.mediafire.com/?ucj15e2zavewnbq

double check the md5 matches above.

    flash in ruu mode:
    -phone in fastboot
    -open cmd
    -enter:
    fastboot devices

    fastboot erase cache

    fastboot oem rebootRUU

    fastboot flash zip vzw_max_radio.zip

    fastboot reboot-bootloader

if you see a baseband in the bootloader screen now, thats a good sign

    fastboot reboot

    good luck,keep fingers crossed! :)

No problem. Was getting ready to ping you about his prob too...lol

Dropbox may or may not add a .bin extension to that. The file I uploaded is exactly as it dumped.
