seems so, the S2 and Note users are getting the network errors, too - as you can read in the original thread.
hope it's only a matter of time till we get a workaround - shouldn't be to hard to disguise it as an S3.

This means the APK file is corrupt. It should be around 29MB big. I had an issue where only 25MB was available on /system, so the copy was cut short and got the same error.

IF IT GIVES YOU NETWORK ERROR YOU HAVE TO CHANGE BUILD.PROP TO I9300 AND IT WILL WORK AGAIN..

What do you mean? Mine is working except for the alarm.
Edit these two lines of build.prop to what is written down, then save and reboot...

Sorry for the signature above, im using i9000 too. That could be because of the the build.prop changes.

Found this while browsing... Its an app from S3... Just extract and install like a normal apk from the download link given below...

For creating account :
- Launch it
- Ignore the account bit at first
- Then click the little red ribbon in the top right hand corner
- Press Accounts
- It will then give you an option to create.
3DO NOT edit build.prop.
