It still does exist in stock JellyBean but it is a lot better than any of the previous radios. I can live with it in its current form.

Default No signal after wifi fix HTC one X

Hey, ive got a similar problem with my HTC one x tegra 3.
I had the dodgy wifi so i performed the fix with aluminium foil.
It fixed the wifi but shortly after my mobile reception totally disappeared.
The phone detects the sim card but does not get any reception.

Any help would be appreciated :P

Really? I was gonna solder it but the general consensus from the thread was that foil was easier and better.
Have I burn out the radio?
Ive kept the phone off since it started failing in case it was something to do with that.

You may have a short, which may cause damage. Thing is, after you've closed the case, you don't really know where the tinfoil is or where it might go.

The blob of solder is more permanent, but unless you have experience soldering and know how to use a heatsink whilst soldering, there is risk of significant damage.
