Audio lag in games?

Hello, I'm on a VZW Galaxy S4 running on Hyperdrive 12 on MK2 with Safestrap 3.71 installed. I I have been using Hyperdrive 12 with no problems so far, except a slight annoyance. I discovered that there is a slight audio lag while playing a few games. The lag isn't that bad, there's only about a half second delay before the audio plays. I only barely noticed this lag when I installed Plants vs Zombies 2. At first I though it was only the app that caused it, but then I decided to play my other installed games, Badland and Angry Birds: Star Wars, and noticed the audio delay in those as well.

I thought maybe something went wrong when installing Hyperdrive, so I tested the same games on the Stock Rom but it yielded the same results. There was no audio delay on my friend's version of PvZ 2 on iOS 7, so it is definitely something about my S4 itself. Are there any ideas as to what the problem is? Or is this completely normal? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
