Hi,
I always understood that under MTP mode it was not possible to show hidden files (see [here] for example).
However, I noticed that cyanogenmod does it! It apparently connects my phone in MTP mode and yet the hidden files are there and the mounted device behaves a lot more like an external drive than anything (I say so because I can use folder comparison utilities with it which I couldn't use when on the stock ROM).
How does CM accomplish that? Is there a mod (i.e. Xposed or something similar) that can do the same to the stock ROM? (I'm asking because I'm planning to try the new 4.4.2 stocks)
Thanks!
