For a while now, my phone shows this weird grey battery when it's off & charging ... not the usual green pretty battery.
It's also charging super slowly ... like 10% per hour. It discharges when on faster than it charges. Keeps dying.
And I can't change the DPI ... no settings "stick", as if I can't get permission to modify system files (build.prop etc.).
I tried fixing permissions; didn't help. Tried clean flashing (slimrom); didn't help.
It might be hardware (battery) issue, but before I give up, I thought maybe to try to re-flash the firmware?
But haven't done that in years; what's the latest procedure? Which file do I flash?
I'm on Mac, so thinking to use "Heimdall".
Do I flash a firmware, then a recovery? Do I have to root again?
