[Q] Occasional no signal on Wildfire S A510e
I have a HTC Wildfire S A510e, which occasionally does not have a signal. It is NOT related to a bad SIM card or a dead spot, because when the phone has no signal it does not has a signal everywhere. The only thing to get a signal is to switch it off and on again. Then it HAS again a signal for unknown time. Could be hours or a day, until the phone decided to have no signal again. Then again, the only way to get the signal back is to turn it off and on again...
As I cannot be reached when the phone thinks there is no signal, this is utmost annoying. The problem cannot be because of
- real bad signal (as you have good signal when you turn off and on)
- bad SIM card (as you can phone normally when the phone has signal)
- any kind of blacklist, as you can phone normally when the phone has signal.
My question: Could this behavior be related to the
1) SIM card?
2) service provider?
3) phone itself?
and how to possibly solve this problem. Maybe the phone is damaged? The firmware too old? A virus? Any help appreciated!!
