Puerto Rico has 4G in Ponce, and also in San Juan.

Puerto Rico is supposed to have LTE up and running within a few months.

That's good to hear. Just wondering then why is it on verizon forums their lte phones battery life is usually blamed on the lte radio. I'm more excited when the 3G speeds will improve.

Because as he said the advantage to the S4 chip besides it being a great dual core is that the LTE radio is on the soc. All of the Verizon phones including the Sprint Galaxy Nexus have a separate radio for lte. This is why I'm still sticking with the Evo after the SGS III announcement. Their quad core exynos can't support lte on the soc so as far as we know they're either going to have to make a bulkier phone that will waste more power or switch to the Qualcomm s4 to get LTE.
