Does this rom include a working GSM toggle? I've used many roms and there has been a GSM toggle under Network mode but forcing 2G does not work.

Is there an option listed under mobile networks to turn off LTE and use HSPA+ only, or use 2G Edge only? Thanks

My Tapatalk 2 won't work at all... it'll try to start and then freeze and FC. I've tried clearing data and cache, and even uninstalling and reinstalling, no joy. Any ideas?

It worked with the Sprint Leak, so I'm confused why it doesn't work here.

I am having the same problem. I have loaded several other rom's and tapatalk is working fine.

Still loving this ROM, just a couple of things:

1. I've got the 3G "problem", and I figured it was just due to the sprint base and Rogers using HSPA+ and calling it 4G. However yesterday, out of the blue, the phone, for a number of hours, said H+ instead of 3G. It now says 3G again though. I do not have LTE in my area.

2. This may be an easy fix, but caller ID for people not in my address book is showing up as crazy characters like diamonds with a ? in them. Any ideas?

I am also with Rogers and the caller ID is screwy as well. The only ROM that caller id works properly on for me so far is JellyBro. Still liking this ROM though

By the way, My random re-boots are back. I don't know what's been causing it. Monday it happened when I was looking at maps. Yesterday afternoon it was in my pocket and I felt a vibration. I took it out and saw it was just powering back on. This morning, I was reading with the kindle app and it re-booted. I would run a logcat but since I can't recreate the event consistantly, running it through ADB isn't going to be of much use - I don't want to be connected to my home computer for an entire day waiting for the failure.

Just thought I would give you a heads up. It was running great for 2 or so weeks with no major issues (I avoided using Navigation with my Bluetooth Speaker which always seemed to cause a crash). And my BT headset doesn't seem to work at all any more (worked with earlier releases of BJ).

Hopefully when AT&T decides to release the JB update, we get 4.2 (since they seem to be taking their time, maybe they were just waiting so they can incorporate the new code). *wishfully thinking of the possibilties*

Hey just flashed this rom and I love it. Just one question, In my area I have HSPA+ (4G), and when I go home I have LTE. Currently where it used to say 4G with this rom it says 3G. Is it actually "4G", but just labeled 3G? and will LTE show up as LTE when I go back home? Running ATT

Thanks

If updating to 9.2 from 9.1, should I do a full wipe, or can I just flash it? Or could you provide a .zip update from .1 to .2?

Sweet - Looks like my immediate future will include a Nandroid backup and a new install.

If updating to 9.2 from 9.1, should I do a full wipe, or can I just flash it? Or could you provide a .zip update from .1 to .2?

You probably don't need to full wipe. But if you run into problems, that should be your first indicator that maybe you need a fresh install.

As for myself, I've had a couple minor issues with the previous builds, I plan to fully wipe and install a fresh and clean copy to see if my errors persist. Hard to tell if my problems are because of the change in build or something that didn't get wiped before installation.

ok guys as long as no big issues come up, I'm back to hitting the books. My calculus midterm got moved from tomorrow until Tuesday but still need a lot of time to study. Learning calc at 37 is no fun.. well I don't suppose it's fun at any age. lol

mbrich: The reboot issue should go away. I kinda think it was from using the sprint kernel, or it could have just been a bug. I got them once in a blue. I was trying to notice when they happened and to me it seemed like when my connection changed.. like being on mobile, then walking in a building where it connects to wifi. Or when I get out of the subway and have no connection and it connects, or when I go into the subway and lose the connection. The times I have noticed it happen was always when there was a hand off of the signal I believe.

Now if I could just get tethering to work I would be one happy camper. I have tethering on my dataplan and havent been able to use it for a while :(

Thanks, I just flashed and I'm running through the setup. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for bluetooth. I think there was something goofy in the Sprint base that was messing my BT connections up.

***Off topic***
Calculus was my favorite subject (so it appeared). I took Cal 1 twice, Cal 2 thrice, Cal 3 once, and Dif Eq twice. I'm so glad that's all behind me. Don't feel free to ask me any math questions, you are likely to meet the same fate as myself if you heed any of my advice.

Graffix,

Does this include the Google Now from Android 4.2? or do I need to re-install that?

*** EDIT ***

I might be thinking of 2 different things. I'm probably confusing the keyboard from 4.2 with GNow.

Something is goofy with my data
I don't even get a 2G connection. It's says 4G up in the status bar but my Download and Upload Speeds are 0.01 Mbps

I tried creating a new APN but I get the same response. I'm going to clear cashe and try it again otherwise I'm going to flash back to 0.9.1

    Download Link: http://goo.im/devs/graffixnyc/GS3-i747/BlackJelly_V1.01.zip

It is recommended that you have updated to Stock Jelly Bean via odin before flashing and especially if you have any problems. The odin update will make sure all partitions are updated and not just the system/boot partition

It is recommended that you do a full wipe before flashing including data. It wouldn't boot for me the first time I tested until I wiped data as well. You can try without but if you have any issues do a full wipe

If you have no data please re set up your APN's you can google the correct apns

If coming from a different ROM especially an ICS rom it is recommended that you do a full wipe. If you do not do a full wipe and have issues do not post them until you do a full wipe and if they persist after a full wipe

Disclaimer: I am not responsible if you flash this and your device gets bricked or anything happens to your device from flashing this.

Please do not request anything. I did this rom for me and it's how I use it. I just decided to share it. If there is a feature you want and it's not something I myself would use then I wont put it in.

    Guys,
I've been getting a lot of PM's and also have seen posts in the thread of people requesting things to add off the top of my head.. other colors, centered clock, stock system ui with stock sammy icons, make the font bigger etc...

Let me say this again.. Please don't request things. If there is a bug, sure I will fix it but adding features is something I will not do 9 times out of 10.

I'm not denying these requests because I'm trying to be a **** or because I'm stubborn but for a couple of reasons. When I first did this rom I wasn't planning on releasing it. I did it for me. I wanted a rom the way I liked it set up and the way I used it and preferred it. I did not have to release it. I could have kept it for myself but I decided to share it with the community. The only requests I would consider are ones that I myself would use and as of right now the only thing I would like to add is call recording and crt off. So if you request something and do not get a response please do not take it personally

Other things, especially cosmetic you can change yourself. I'm all about people learning and doing things on their own. I knew NOTHING about android 2 years ago and I just kept reading and learning. There are many guides on XDA a lot of them I used myself to do this rom. I hate when people expect to be spoon fed and often rip people a new one in forums I mod for expecting people to do the work for them.

There are many users that make mods if you don't have a clue on how to start and they would be the ones to ask for mods. But as far as this rom goes besides bug fixes and what I mentioned above (call recording and crt off which more could be added to if I want something else) you get what you get. If you want to change it by all means change it. I just don't have the time to do a million differ variations of things

again I'm not trying to be a jerk. I just really don't have the time. I work full time as a programmer/database admin and I go to school full time so time is very limited. I actually wasn't going to do anything after the last release (0.9.2) until after my finals next week but decided to take time from my studying to get you guys the official AT&T release of JB ASAP. version 1.0 (and 1.01) actually was the first time I rushed to get it done so I could get back to studying.

I hope you guys understand. If you want something from the stock rom by all means download a stock rom and pull the files you want to replace.
    14
Hey guys! I'm back! Sorry for my absence I've been away from XDA with personal issues. Today is my first day back! So give me some time to catch up with everything and I will update the ROM
