I am trying to install this rom
I have a Tmobile HD2 and i am not using SD-EXT nor SWAP - my SD is a one fat32 partition -
I tried with magldr , and with CLK 1.4
I tried with ClockWorkMod , and with 4ext
I tried both options for normal and clk mode in the installer
And I am always having a stuck on boot before the animation situation
I tried 180 system partition , 220 , 250 !!!
cache is 5 MB
What should i do ??

I am getting stuck at go go go when using maglsr
and stucking on the white tmobile screen when using CLK
as you said i do have CWM installed , just not sure about system partition size and cache size , also is it a must to have sd-ext partition ?
what is the least cwm version that i should be using ?
thanks
Did you actually boot into CWM and install the ROM from there?
Tell me the VERSIONS you installed of Magldr/CWM/Rom.
Yes a zipfile just flash it through the recovery(cwm) you have now..recovery/install zip from sdcard/reboot...boot into new recov/flash the rom zip/clear caches/reboot
Part size 170/10 if you want to use/install the rom at full speed/options
a question this kernel that you have is it based on syiah kernel. many have problems with the latest kernel from siyah.
If anyone has read my numerous posts (or read my siggy), then they know I was on 2.3.7 ROM for the longest time (and whatever kernel it came with).
Well I spent the better part of 2 days (Wednesday and Thursday) trying to customize the ZIP for install (the archive becomes 74mb after my trimming) since I am used to the straight zip from CM. Alas, got it figured out (just leaving empty folders works fine).
I am happy to say that running rom v3.1.6.2 with kernel v6.6C, I find myself needing/wanting an extended battery , and NO its not because of power drain (3ma on standby)... its because im using the ever living CRAP out of it! and 1230mah doesnt last for **** when doing anything mildly "intensive" (gaming, video watching, ect ect)...
Dorimanx, I really hope you get your HD2 and continue to dev (even GB, not liking everything about ICS) for us
That being said... I must be one of the few... in that I only like SOME aspects of the new ICS design philosophy, but for the most part, I still prefer the HTC Sense design... and Sense 4 icons/settings/lockscreen styling are looking even sharper these days
Looking forward to the future of my HD2! (well, at least until T-Mobile gets the Galaxy Note, then im gonna swap it our for the International edition if its got a CRAPdragon processor/gpu combo)
EDIT: I forgot to say, since updating everything (cLK included) havent had ANY connection issues that used to occur nearly ALL THE DAMN TIME on 2.3.7 (I mainly use WiFi where im at, but when I did have to go out, it sucked )
EDIT2: Updating my Siggy!
EDIT3: Siggy Updated!
Hi Dori, your S2 ROM is awesome, all is very smooth and works fine.
Could you tell us how to improve the kernel with ExTweaks?
5400 points in Quadrant are
a question this kernel that you have is it based on syiah kernel. many have problems with the latest kernel from siyah.
Nice to see more devs coming to SGS2. I have a question about the kernel, is it based on CM sources or something else? We have had problem the last days with SIyah kernel who had rebased and people ended up with bricks, many devs have based their kernels on his sources so thats why i ask.
