Why do i bother with checksums......
Any hows, laptop went into standby mode before the upload was complete. The md5sum is correct that I posted, no files are missing from the zip, its just an incomplete upload.

I have now reloaded the original file. In future, please could someone just say DOWNLOAD BROKEN and pm me instead of creating a 3 pages of rubbish
Most of the original followers will do. And to you guys, please tell the new ones if this happens in future "it will be resolved as soon as nitr8 is online" or something.

Yup, i know, but i like better the samsung stock vs gingerbread theme. In gingerbread theme icons in notification bar are very small, one can hardly see the battery percentage, also in the contacts app there are 3 useless dots on a white line and that makes contact's pictures look weird ( stretched )
Ups: insanity jpx is gone, you are going to focus on jpy probably. Is jpy anyhow better than jpx? . For me jpx is fast, good battery life and gps works very well

I need some help flashing with odin please i downloaded the insane.rar which is the stock jpy but it doesn't have a pit file i found a jpy pit file and then tried to flash odin but it got stuck at "setup connection"

I hadn't upgraded to 0.22 yet and I also got your odin insanity.zip file that was incomplete too so I just thought it might have been another issue and all the files from the server were going to be like it. Otherwise I would have not said anything
To everyone complaining about quadrant scores please NOTE* This information on the first page is based on JPO!!! nitr8: Most ROMs are all overkill for me, and with the ROM below, and with some settings explained I am getting a Quadrant Score of nothing under 2200 and a battery life of 2.5 to 3 days.

Nope thats ADW ex which I believe is a paid for app... I use ADW but I know nitr8 has tried them all and always seems to return to LP for some reason

Of course, I switched the /system in rw (using the remount cmd added by nitr8), in any case the apk doesn't run properly.
Anyone has the trick?

Hi Everyone.
That's my first post. I've had an omnia B7610 before I bought this amazing phone.
First I want to thank nitr8 for a great rom. I made a fresh install through Odin. Than I installed 0.21 and during last two days made 2 upgrades to 0.23 through clockwork.
I completely customized files in rom, also swype...
I have no issues at all.
My favourite kernel at this moment is Speed Mod 12a 500hz because of tiny rcu which is very smooth.
My battery lasts for 14-26 hours. Depends on how intensive is my usage.
But it's very intensive and I think it's a good result.
One more time thanks to nitr8 for best rom for SGS at all.
I will post later if I find any issues but I haven't noticed anything for 2 days....

I alreadey posted that, it fails in uot kitchen and battery mod2 also does not work. I finished manuallly replacing icons in frameworl-res.apk
can we have an unthemed version? or .. i dont know, some instructions to get an unthemed version

and i have yet to see my +2200 quadrant score. now don't get me wrong the thing is smooth as butter and the boot time is amazing. BUT i just like to see my gt i9000 perform at optimal capacity. I have posted pics below. sins this is my first time posting on this forum i cant post external links so just paste the "HTTP" back together to view images

~1400 is normal score with all ext4. If you want higher scores go to advanced and you can enable other lagfixes from there.
But remember ; scores are only scores and since the introduction of jpu/jpx/jpy lagfixes are not really required.
That 2200 was obtained with aggresive lagfixes that do not guarantee data integrity and consume more battery.

Install
- Copy Insanity ROM to internal SD Card
- Reboot into Recovery Mode

Easy Peasy Installation for Insanity cm31 and higher,
Case 1:
Currently on any Samsung 2.3.3 or 2.3.4 ROMs (stock or custom, you already have Gingerbread Bootloader (GBL))
• Enter CWM recovery (If you are on stock Samsung, install speedmod or another kernel which gives you this).
• Wipe data/factory reset
• Go to mounts and storage, format system , go back.
• Go to advanced, wipe dalvik cache.
• Go to Install zip file, select zip file, select Insanity cmxx.zip and Install insanity.
• Reboot to system.
• Flash another kernel using nitrality if you need, gapss.
Case 2:
Currently on 2.1 or 2.2 samsung roms (stock or custom)
• If you don’t have CWM recovery, install a kernel for 2.1 or 2.2 which gives you that.
• Download Odin from here if you don't have odin already and GingerBread Bootloaders (GBL).
• Load GBL in PDA, click on bootloader update and reset time. Nothing else.
• Once odin says pass with a green bar, pull battery.
• Enter CWM recovery, wipe data/factory reset.
• Go to mounts and storage, format system , go back.
• Go to advanced, wipe dalvik cache.
• Go to Install zip file, select zip file, select Insanity cmxx.zip and Install insanity.
• Reboot to system.
• Flash another kernel using nitrality if you need, gapss.

• Go to advanced, wipe dalvik cache.

• Flash another kernel using nitrality if you need, gapss.
Case 4:
Currently on Cm7/Insanity 31 and older/MIUI with GBL
• Enter CWM recovery
• Wipe Cache (can skip this if you are on insanity, do it later if you have issues).
• Go to advanced, wipe dalvik cache ( can skip this if you are on insanity, do it later if you have issues).
• Go to Install zip file, select zip file, select Insanity cmxx.zip and Install insanity.
• Reboot to system.
• Flash another kernel using nitrality if you need, gapss.
If you still manage to screw up, time to give up on flashing as you can’t follow simple instructions.
