Superuser doesn't work on Android 4.3 + Samsung because it's almost unsupported by the author. That's why it's better to use SuperSU.

@mike1986. my gt n7100 works perfect on 20.0 from the day one... should i update to 20.1.???
I had same problem, flashed again, chose Superuser instead of SuperSU, and that seems to work.
Edit: spoke too soon, root is indeed gone.
I tested a bit and I think I know where root goes wrong.
I just flashed again, with Super SU. And it is rooted.
But if I open Super SU, it tells me it has to update binaries, when i do update, root is gone.
When I dont update binaries, root stays.
So I guess we just should not update Super SU binaries

No way to have root access... No solutions work. Back to V19
Anyway, good work mike
Your solution didn't work for me ...
What I did (and gave me back my root on ARHD 20.1) was to flash Chainfire's N7100 CF-autoroot (can be found here) with Odin 3.07 (can be found here)
Step 1: Extract the CF-Autoroot until you got a file with .tar.md5
Step 2: Extract odin307.zip and run Odin3 v3.07 as administrator.
Step 3: Shutdown your Note 2 completely.
Then, hold down the volume down button + the home button and press the power button for 5 seconds, after you will see a warning screen just press volume up.
Step 4: Now click on “PDA” and choose the .tar.md5 file you've downloaded earlier.
Connect the USB cable to your computer then to your Galaxy Note 2 and click “Start”.
Step 5: Once it successfully finishes you will see “Pass” in the above table of the “ID:COM”
Cheers,
EDIT:
Don't forget to (re)update/load your TWRP Recovery ..

Q 1: After flashing Android Revolution HD my battery drains much faster. What can I do?
A: Please charge your battery to 100%, boot your device in ClockworkMod Recovery and go to Advanced ---> Wipe Battery Stats. Also see Question 7.

Q 3: Is there any alternative for SetCPU? I think it slows downy my devivce.
A: You can application called No-frills. Remember to check "Allow on boot" option.
Q 5: Do I need to wipe data partition when upgrading from old version of Android Revolution HD?
A: I always recommend wiping data partition but it's absolutely necessary only if I mention that in the changelog. But normally you can live without it.
Wipe data partition if you experience any issues.

Q 9: My phone got random freezes or reboots. How can I fix it?
A: Every CPU is different. It seems that your CPU doesn't like OC or UV (undervolt). Set your CPU to default 1GHz.
If it doesn't help, then you need to flash default kernel from the second post.
Q 11: My clock/weather widget doesn't show my location. How can I fix it?
A: Please clear data from Google Maps, Clock Widget, Weather, HTC weather sync provider and Weather Provider.
