I cannot get into Fastboot / recovery to load stuff!!! HELP!!!!!!!!
Actually you do not need to boot into stock recovery to downgrade to .8.
Just download the firmware, unzip it once and put the resulting zip into the root of you SD card. Reboot and you should get a notification to downgrade.
You did not scr*** up anything with GooManager. The attempted install just failed - no harm done. What you see booting into recovery is perfectly normal. You always get the dead Android when you boot into recovery and it doesn't find a valid update file.
There are two ways to manually update/downgrade a stock system:
The one I described above - try that first.
Or rename the unzipped firmware file to EP201_768_SDUPDATE.zip, put it into the root of your microSD and boot into recovery. The recovery should recognize the update file and start flashing.
You do know that you will loose all your data flashing a complete firmware package, don't you?
Backup verything before you start.
