Yes yes that is the reason!!! The icon goes blue if connected to google servers (same on GB, but green)
You can realize that by simply stopping google messaging service;)

Seek the signature below the line;)

i don't know if this is a bug in the rom, but many times, when i send a message, it's showing me an error "the message can't be send".

for me it works well if network is there... may be you got the rom which was released 2 months back. It gave me the same error but now its updated works fine......

dude it is normal each an every rom for android is same but if u want long battery life disable mobile data for me it last long when i disable data and enable when ever i need..

I don't have a p500, so I cannot reproduce your problem. If you want to help us, read section d (bug reports) and send it after rebooted. last_kmsg in the bug report file tells us what caused rebooting.

Actually this is a DEV thread. We ignore all posts if a bug report wasn't attached.
This is general developer rule. Bug report or GTFO.

I got this grayed wifi icon all the time, and for sure connected to Google server.
However, I'm using reloaded ICS UI mod (http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1531222) so I thought the grayed icon comes from there.

Not a big issue, though.

Yesterday I finally flashed the ROM,credits to jaibar who PM'd me back about what I could do so yeh thnx man.As for the ROM one word AMAZING.Very good work HeHappy and CO you guys rock I have been looking for ICS on my Optimus One for a long a time so yeh well done on your part.It looks so great and I'm very happy with my phone.Bugs I found were that it doesn't display which programs drain our battery, when connecting to my laptop with Windows 7 it doesn't show my storage when I press 'turn on storage thingy' on phone,videos lag at different 'intensity' well I'm trying to say is it lags a little then lags a lot...a little then etc.And yeh hopefully the update brings in the things that didn't work soon so we can have a successful ROM :)!
P.S- When you install updates to your ROM do you have to backup all the stuff like apps,media etc. again?Fingers crossed the answer is no, and when updating a ROM what is the process?Thanx ;)

Whenever i listen to music via headphones, whenever a call comes, it goes on loud speaker.... + music starts playing on loudspeaker for 3 sec...
I have seen many people reporting this bug and me myself have reported this bug before...
This might be a minor bug for most of you, but for people like me who have to travel in public transport, its very embarrassing... :(

Plz. developers (heyhappy, lupo, and co.) have a look at this bug... :(

dude cant u hear??plz post logcat.our devs dont have p500 to test so a logcat is must needed

it is not possible for me to get logcat for this.... plz corporate...
devs who have p500... plz look into this bug.
