I did get knock on working, but went back to LG ui. It was laggy, the icons are big and with the 4 x 4 layout it makes the screen seem smaller. I hope if they make this as something you can get from the play store that add some features like changing the grid size etc.
I also found it interesting that the primary home screen is now the left most screen, so Google Now is a swipe away and then you add screens to the right as needed. I didn't play around long enough to see if you can move the primary home screen or not.
All in all its interesting but not a good option on this device for me at this time. Which I am really surprised by.
