On 20120406 NIGHTLY can't use Defy ROM Updater on WiFi (won't check for updates ) , on 2G/3G it's working fine.

BUGREPORT
Build 20120413

-I think touchscreen isn't working the right way while loading (sensity to low? maybe finger detection close beside finger?)

-watching fresh downloaded Pictures (definitely .png,some .jpg too) "loading" (blurry->sharp [in some milliseconds]) picture loading "crashes" -> Picture gets grey with some pink parts in it. Left top side stays correct.

I'm using 16.04 by Epsylon3, Froyo kernel - Defy ROM Updater works only on WiFi and 3G. It won't check if I'm using 2G.

Yes, the touchscreen in charging is sensibility too bad.

video camera

(sorry my english is bad) I have the version CM9-NIGHTLY-120416-Defy.zip in my defy with green lens and the video camera isnt working, the picture freezes and after 8 second says than the aplication has stopped

+1 on the button backlight issue, but GSM data works fine once you add a valid apn.

I know that "to have the debugging on" is a must have and is a well known bug.
But can someone explain what the problem is?

Is there also change to see the releasenote or change log between the different builds?
If I will get the build @ defy-cm dot net I do not have any change to see what happen between the build 20120411 and 20120417

Then how can i transfer files to my sd card??? When i connecting usb cable to system its just charging...

Bug report: quarx 2004+

Something funky up with the data toggle. If you gave wireless enabled and switch data off, the data indicator says data is still on, even though it is actually disabled. If you disable the Wi-Fi, the data toggle shows the correct state again.

Oy..,
I've also got the backlight problem. I tried to change the brightness level back to 0 but it was still slightly on. Then I reflashed quarx's latest and the light is completely off so far. I'm gonna keep it that way 'till there's a fix..

Anyway, does quarx's latest build on red lens defy still need the battery fix?

*BUG REPORT*

Hello, guys!
I am using the 16 april version of ICS on a Motorola defy, and every time I try to call someone, the screen turns off and it won't turn back on unless I press the power button. I think the proximity sensor is reversed, because when i touch it with my finger, the screen turns back on, but only for a couple of seconds (normally it should be the other way). Any solution to fix this bug?

Mh. I guess the question I'd lik to ask isnt new, but although using the search-feature, i couldnt find a reliable information on this. Its some month ago that i flashed my phone to the latest version and i dont wanna break it now

My question is about the green/red lense camera problems. I'm currently on a 4.0.1 MIUI hybrid ICS version, but id like to switch to the v4 (ICS) version (2.3.30). My defy has a green lense. Will that work out? Im on nordic.

I have succefully installed ICS CM9 4.0.4 on my defy plus (red lens).
So far I only found 2 little issues.
1: cant move apps to SD
2: battery will not charge over 85%

Only after I googled issue number 2, I found this thread, and there is a fix for in here.
So my question is can I this apply Flash Battery Fix(Only for Red Lens) Recovery from boot menu without doing all the other procedures?

Also, the how to I found on this thread is a little different from the one I followed to flash my rom.
Here is says: Flash CM9 Kernel [Note: Defy Plus users DO NOT FLASH KERNEL ZIP!]
The one I followed
Said: Flash CM9 Kernel

So in other words, I did also flush the kernel.

What happens now? What are the consequenses? It seems to be working.
