you have to push the files manually

it's no flashable zip

insert the file manualy and camera not connect but now appare a line color blue same chose menu.....

Didn´t load HAL...

Do you have the firmware files in /system/firmware and set the right permissions?

With which kernel did you test?

Can we have screenshots? thanks. Try tu add Arco libcamera.so or from i9000.

i used kernel arco boot_test2 and oisis kernel alpha 2 result is same

where can i find the kernel of oises. sorry, there are so many files, i want to take the right ones.

Sorry, extract files and use adb push. Remember ti fix perms to 644.

You can try also change name from camera.msm7630surf.so to camera.ariesve.so.

I change the file name but is same

Once again my question, do you have the firmware files stored at /system/firmware and set the right permissions?
And which kernel did you use?

(everything without gapps and sim card) btw. i'm no noob, set already the right permissions and moved the files in the right folders.

logcat1:
fresh install cm9, boot, starting cam, camera not found

logcat2:
cm9, install kqe firmware files, boot, starting cam, camera not found

logcat3:
cm9, kqe firmware, build.prop changes and u8860libs files, boot, starting cam, camera not found, but there is shown a load bar (can confirm that screenshot before)

(will make this with camtest8 and oises 02 kernel,too - everytime when switch , with fresh cm9)

fresh install cm9 & camtest8_by_arco:

logcat001:
cm9, boot, start cam, long time blackscreen, after that camera not found

logcat002:
cm9, kqe firmware, boot, start cam, long time blackscreen, after that camera not found

logcat003:
cm9, kqe firmware, build.prop changes & u8860 libs, boot, start cam, fast start (no blackscreen), loading bar (but nothing moves), camera not found

(fresh install means, i have formated all partitions and flashed the zip again)

cm9, boot, start cam, camera not found

cm9, firmare kqe, boot, start cam, camera not found

logcat30:
cm9, firmware kqe, build.prop changes & u8860libs, boot, start cam, loading bar (nothing moves), camera not found

( i think i will try one other way, only with the camera app of u8860, to see if the loading bar is from app)

and they have a ported cm9 with working camera. will upload the files. (the same files needed as u8860 ?)

ok, the loading bar is from app u8860. did a fresh install of cm9 and only replaced the app.
