water damage - recover data (fastboot & flash-mode working)
my sister gave me her Xperia U which has a water damage (she put it into the toilet...
Although I have removed the battery immediately, the phone doesn't power on after a few days of drying.
When I try to power on the phone, it vibrates for a half second, the display-leds turn on, but the screen stays black. Windows recognizes an MTP device, but it doesn't appear in windows-explorer. ADB isn't available because the phone seems not to boot.
But I can "boot" the phone into flash- or fastboot mode (green/blue) led - and it is also recognized by flashtool. I have already tried to reflash the firmware (without wipe of course). Flash was ok, but it still doesn't boot.
The phone itself isn't important, but on the internal storage, there are some very important pictures which I have to recover. Do you have any suggestions? Is it possible to backup the internal storage? Flashtool can only write ftf-files, but not read the phone's memory I think...
