Can't seem to get the app DPI changes to apply. Gmail font is pretty tiny. Also, I am experiencing touch problems at the bottom, even after turning off pie.

Ah, seems you have to set trigger options in Pie to "none disable" to fix the bottom touch issues.

If you did dirty flash, then try a clean flash.
Or try resetting hybrid settings.

I'm using a Samsung charger also I think its from my S2 the stock one from the note 2 seems to be failing and won't charge anymore...

When opening an app using halo the screen flashes black before popping up. I'm used it to being a smooth transition, anyway to fix the black flashing?

Go to settings -> PAC-man -> hybrid properties-> interface -> then under workspace, slide nav bar to 0%
