Default Gmail sync issue

Hey guys, I've got an odd situation here. I'm running aero's cm9 and no matter what I do, the option to sync Gmail doesn't come up in the accounts sync menu.. I'm at a loss. Here's what I tried so far:

1: clean/full wipe and reinstall (tried 3 diff ice roms)
2: fixed permissions/ deleted Gmail data
3: reflashed gapps
4: uninstalled Gmail and attempted all of the above, then reinstalled... grrr.

Anyone have any idea? Any help is much appreciated!

I can see it fine here, running the 6/08 build. You have the latest gapps? 4/29 is the one I'm using.

Try uninstalling it and reinstalling it, maybe. It's worth a shot anyway

I think I read somewhere there's a framework update that may help this, it sits 'underneath' the apps, but I believe it's flashed with the GApps pack from Goo so you should already have it?

It's gotta be something in the framework if your accounts aren't showing in Sync mate.

Someone else may have a less drastic solution, but I'd reflash, and ensure you flash the GApps package straight after you flash the ROM. No reboots or wipes of any kind in between. Then do a factory reset after both and see how you go
