I have a cm11 nightly from about a week ago, and I use Google voice for SMS.
I just came from a jelly bean device, and had no problems with that.
The problem is that when I get a SMS, I don't get proper notifications. If I watch my status bar, I get the first line, then it disappears. Nothing ever sticks.
I have a separate account for my Google voice, and nothing is sync'd. But I have the exact same on my nexus 10(running cm10 nightly(jb)), and I do get proper notifications.
I have no idea why it's doing this, I tried toggling "show notifications" in app property screen, but to no avail. I've had to enable email notifications and it's real annoying to use this workaround.
I'd appreciate any help on this matter.
