ONLY 4 downloads?!!

Are people not using this or are there just no people modding this device? Some feedback would be nice? since I have it I will share it. This update includes 14 Boot Animations and a lot of options to theme what you want. The mods are compatible with AOSP and Blur Roms, odex or deodex, locked or unlocked bootloader. The only requirement is rooted device with a recovery.

Now has options to install bootanimations

Even though there is apparently no interest here I have decided to share this update v5.5 because I have it running perfectly on my girls phone. I have seen and dealt with the bootanimation issue for this phone. I have found the solution to run custom Bootanimations. Enjoy

This is a VERY quiet community over here huh? Like I said I ported this mod for my girl and it's not a big deal posting it here to share with the Droid RAZR users, a some feedback would be nice? if your to shy I guess hit the THANKS button for me. Thanks

Saw your post on my thread, thanks for the feedback.

Nothing personal, but I feel like these designs/wallpapers might be a little too over the top for my personal tastes. What I look for in great UI design is moderate contrast and a strong color pallet. A lot of the icons in the framework themes seem to conflict as well... like some of the icons are glossy, then some are flat and very basic.

Also there seems to be some pixelation in some of the icons, or little pixel-ish white borders around some icons which make them seem out of place.

I do love the idea of what you've done here, you've shown that theming packages are easily made available... what would be more appealing to me is some kind of content which will easily allow people to make their own themes with tools like photoshop and such, tools to empower creators who might not be as familiar with the Android system.

I can appreciate that you know what you like and how to get it!! The version of Missing Link released here is not as complete as my current version for sure. I really have only posted in the forum to get some feedback from different devices. I currently am working on a whole new Aroma UI for my phone which has over 500 choices to pick and mod what you want. I haven't kept the Droid RAZR version as up to date simply because I haven't seen a demand for it. I am about to release a Final version for my phone and have had a couple of request to port to another device. At that point I will definitely send an update to this device.

Question, So you have installed this and ran through the Aroma Installer options? If so, which options did you pick? Since this version was released I have improved my drawing and editing of "patch 9.png's" which have proven to be very tricky and important to a proper and complete look!

So are suggesting that I kind of go through what steps and tools I used to create this in a tutorial like environment? either way thank you for input and feedback.

Boot Animation Previews

I am still working on this, but there are now Boot Animation previews available in the OP. Remember I have tested all the boot animation available in Missing Link myself and have confirmed they all work. I had to shorten some of them due to possible stock kernel issues. Enjoy

Droid Razr Maxx HD?

Does this work for the Maxx HD? Also does it work if I have Carbonite KK 4.4.2 flashed?

It does work for the Maxx HD. As far as KK, most mod will stick 100% some may only work partially. For my Original device I have tested and confirmed it works from GB-JB with parts of KK. If you wouldn't mind testing and giving me feedback I will make the necessary fixes? The problem I have is I ported this to my girls phone and she has locked bootloader! So testing different roms is not really an option for me.

MAKE A NANDROID and test for me please? Every mod including boot animations and logo.bin choices work 100% for her phone running Stock deodex Moto Blur.

Did you have any test feedback? Just checking in over here and figured I would post an update. Major things this update include "Center Clock" mod, also added change lockscreen fonts and more boot logo's/animations

mostly works on Atrix HD running Carbon 4.4.2

Boot animation and boot logo work flawlessly.
battery icon and wifi icon alterations aren't working (most likely because this ROM has fully integrated theming capabilities for those icons).

now just waiting for the Blown Away that stang is uploading tonight and I'll be golden!

sorry it took longer than I thought , but I got carried away and created a new mod for Boot Animations universal for hdpi and xhdpi devices. this is a beta v1 that only has the updated Blown away sized for your phone. I have already tested and confirm working for mine and mu girls phones. Let me know what you think of the concept and of course if you have problems or ideas? thanks for the feedback

I like the concept as it looks a lot like the GUI from Missing Link and it is easy enough to understand with the clear designations between phones and resolutions.

I was able to install the boot animation in seconds, of course, but for some reason my phone won't play a sound file while booting (I know it is capable as it played the annoying AT&T sound when it was stock). I know it's not because of the bootloader because this phone is completely unlocked (I did it myself). I also know it's not just your app or file association as it doesn't want to play the sound I've tried loading from 2 other bootani's. I've tried placing the sound files at the root of the media folder as well as inside the actual sound folder... to no avail. maybe I'll try checking the box in the GUI that indicated the same settings you had to use on your girl's RAZR HD.

UPDATE: turns out the aforementioned box for RAZR HD apparently references the omega bootani' and not particular sound or any other settings that help with the AHD... not an error on your part, just doesn't do anything on my device.

Add support for more phones

I would really like to see you support more phones, mainly my moto RAZR Maxx xt912. If you were to support more phones and put it on the play store, I would gladly pay abuck for it

That's the idea with the different versions I've made. Very difficult from device to device and even same device with different version of Android things work and don't work. As far as this working on your phone, particularly the logo mod, from what I've read up on and even opened up a mod from your forum's. It looks like that will for sure work, along with what looks to me like most of the mods would work. I recommend not using the center clock mod as that is more specific to my phone. I would say Nandroid up and flash away! Let me know if you have more questions

Everything working great on Stock 9.30 XT926 thanks for your hard work.
only thing that's missing is a clock color mod.
