Yes... Civato has the same problem... All governors based on ondemand freeze/reboot for my the only that works good is interactive.

Thanks, my wife's note3 is stock unrooted, and she's having a lot of freeze ups since the update. Do you know of any way to control or adjust the kernel without root? I couldn't find anything.

Love this kernel. Smooth and fast. I flashed it the same day you posted it and only had one random reboot. Other than that it's been perfect. Can't wait till the update!

I just tweaked interactive to be more ondemand like.
Took some screwing around but I've found my sweet spot.

Testing intellidemand now. Pretty sure intelliactive will work fine but wanna see if intellidemand will have a lockup.
If all goes well I'll add schedulers to xconfig before I release R13 tonight. So far so good so we're on track for tonight.

I switched from lean to this kernel... I do notice more battery draw but maybe it needs to settle... Very smooth...

Yeah interactive needs some tweaking. It does draw more power as a governor. Conservative runs pretty well but makes battery life better. I'm testing some more things now so we'll see what happens. Looking good so far.
And yeah let it settle in lol.

Intellidemand looks great peeps. Not one lock up or reboot. So it seems it's staying. So now I'm working on adding schedulers to xconfig. Testing to see how it works now...
My goal with xconfig is to allow the ability to change things about the kernel without the need of a cpu app all the time. So we'll see how it all works out I guess.

So I gotta work some more on the scheduler stuff in xconfig. So R14 will probably have it. Intellidemand is amazing, just like ondemand, so I disabled ondemand itself until I can finally resolve it's freezing/reboot issue. Maybe a kernel dev with more experience will get it. But just know ondemand is disabled for right now...
Tested the kernel with FauxClock, TricksterMod and Synapse, and no reboot has occurred all day. I'm adding power suspend mode and dynamic fsync toggles to xconfig as well. Imoseyon was a genius for lkconfig, I just did it with a twist. I kinda prefer this over the cpu apps for right now since I don't have the display settings and led settings set up just yet, but soon I'll even have those set up. I may just add controls to xconfig for those as well....
UPDATE: Hell, I'm gonna try and add extended LED controls from yank555. That and I may dress up xconfig by adding some color lol... Those last two things and R13 I think will be ready....

Nope. None of the governors will change. I won't make any mods to them unless reboot issues happen again. But I doubt they'll happen again if everyone runs Interactive, which is the default governor.
