Is there a stable release candidate? Are the nightlies stable enough to use as a daily driver?

No, theres no stable release candidate. Enough people use my nightliy builds (I use them too) and I think my builds are stable enough.

That's great to know. I'll jump on that bandwagon as well and try it.
On the add-ons... I see:
sqlite_nosync.zip
sqlite_nosync.patch
gapps-ics-20120317-signed.zip
qualcomm_adreno_2xx_drivers.zip
facebook_sync.zip
Questions:
1.) Can you explain each one breifly? Sorry don't quit understand what is sqlite. Why does gapps and processor drivers are "add-ons"
2.) Is facebook not included in the rom? that's why facebook_sync is an add-on?

For sqlite_nosync read http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=903507, my patch is the same as his. .patch is the patch for the source and .zip is the compiled version.
Gapps are currently included in this ROM, so you can ignore this package.
qualcomm_adreno_2xx_drivers.zip is just a packaged version of qualcomms adreno drivers for ics. If you don't now what they do, don't flash them
No, facebook isn't included and will never be
facebook_sync.zip is for those people who wan't to sync their contacts with facebook.
Maybe the second is one of your installed apps? They have different package names otherwise dalvik had chosen the higher version number.
I didnt install anything at that point and its not under installed apps. Im just gonna use TB to uninstall the non picasa version
does anyone have working volume control functions with bluetooth pairing? it used to work for me, noticed today it wasn't anymore.

Hey I know turning in the auto brightness let's the key lights work but I don't like auto brigtness is there a way around it

If the keys are lit up when auto brightness is on, turn it off, and they'll still be on.

45Small update for you all.
I'm going to be stopping working on OS. Waiting 190 minutes for each compile just to test a small fix is getting too much.
I thank all those that previously donated, I was able to get a used q6600 PC, however that didn't last and the CPU fried. (Probably why I got it cheap was that is was on it's way out)
I've asked TamCore if he will take over on OpenSensation.
I have enjoyed the time I spent in doing this, however with work I don't have time to work on this during a week now, as the last few updates have shown working on it during the week, staying up while it compiles results in a few bug's.
The repo's as they are now do suffer from audio routing and I will try to re-port the routing fix over the next few day's, but that will be my last contribution.38
In a few hours after I compile, it will be enabled & audio routing band-aided
leaving just bluetooth, mhl, full HW acceleration & a few wakelock issues to be fixed.
Hell, I started out on this laptop, so may as well finish on it.
i'll stick around continuing to work on this for a while yet.
Guess I just got that pissed off waiting one night I thought "f**k it"
