I use ART so Xposed will need to be removed. Do you need HKtheme and Xposed on your phone after applying the theme? I've manually done the white edit (editing the apk files) before but there's no need to duplicate the work since yours works so well.

Requirements:
Xposed Framework

HKTheme Manager

Instructions:
- Install HKTheme Manager, activate and reboot
- Install my theme
- Open HK and refresh
- Press Set theme, Set theme again and reboot

As long as your rooted and have hkthememanager it should. I applied the nexus 5 version and it works great.
