Let me if more info required.

BTW: I think i can restore your twrp nandroid and stock boot n recovery to return to stock. Then relock bootloader and wait for OTA.
Is it correct?

If you expect to run JB OTA when it is available, I'm afraid you need a higher hboot 1.24.0000

1.20.000 is the lower version, so you need to restore to the earlier software version no then do OTA update to 1.18.707.3 where your hboot will be updated to 1.24.000

I can't remember if 1.18.707.1 hboot is 1.20.0000 or 1.24.0000

Okay, I'll be patient, I have provided all the info.
This thread is subscribed so I'll be watching out for any instructions that you post. At least some of us are on 044 so I'm not alone:):):)

Sent from my HTC Desire X

Actually I'm surprised that you don't have a backup. I will make a TWRP backup for 1.18.707.1 for you to try then see whether you will receive the OTA for 1.18.707.3

But I can do this only on Sunday as I will be busy on Friday and Saturday. But I will try to find time to make it.

I have installed deodexed 1.18.401 from infernal77 but, if in any time I'd like to update to JB, I'll need a full stock odexed version (I hope some guy can upload a nandroid back up just after a RUU fresh install).

Oh man... I thought that having a odexed stock rom with the stock kernel and recovery, I could have JB if my carrier wants to give it to us.
I'll see if I'm lucky and somebody can give me a back up or I'll have to "invent" something :D
Thank you very much!

Did you make a Nandroid Backup after you unlocked the bootloader and installed a custom recovery ? If yes.. restore that and you can also upload your nandroid backup if available to somewhere and give us the link, it will helps a lot of users with CID HTC__038

Unfortunately, in my haste to install a custom ROM, I didn't make a nandroid of the stock ROM.
If I flash the RUU, will it go back to stock though?

Depends on your CID, which you can identify by downloading CID Getter here from the Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.tritonsoft.cidgetter&hl=en
If your CID is European I think you're good to go.
The other option is to find someone with the same CID as you and ask them politely for an ICS nandroid backup :D

My CID is HTC_038. I found out through fastboot, mentioned it in my initial post. I have no clue if it's European though.
