Actually, it sounds more like a HW issue . . . . check output of charger, most likely is putting out a low amperage.
Agreed. I never turn my tab off. Always charges.

Ehhhh.... I gonna guess some leftover data causing a small conflict. That can cause some strange visual outputs in the UI. Missing icons, etc.
It was probably charging, just the icons weren't changing. This is typical with ICS and flashing things. Not like it was with the HC mods.

You now , Mr. Desire, I also experienced weird flickers, and my home screens wouldnt scroll, random stuff like that, but not anymore. If it persists, Im going to re-wipe everything and start fresh, as that fixes 99% of random bugs Ive experienced on Android devices with custom ROMs. Funny you mentioned that though. :what:

I've gotta SoD since the beginning of ICS on our tabs, even with non-rooted stock ICS direct from Acer. There was one kernel during the "leak" phase that did NOT give me SoDs. I got in the habit of flashing the latest Flexreaper, then flashing that old kernel onto it. Now that I've switched to ReFlexxx I have been afraid to try it as I'm pretty sure the kernel wouldn't work, plus it had no overclock ability.
What HAS worked for me, however, is a little program called "WakeLock" from the playstore ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.thedarken.wl&hl=en). It prevents my tab from going into deep sleep mode (which is what seems to trigger the SoDs). I lose a bit of battery life, but it's worth it to have a tab that's overclocked and that actually lights up when I tap the power button.

Perhaps this is more of an android problem than this rom, and if that's the case, I apologize. I've also searched this thread, and the closest thing I've found was someone unable to install any apps, he was told to wipe all dalvik(sp?) data and I've done that, but it has not fixed the problem.
The problem - I can install anything just fine. However, as soon as I uninstall something, I'm never able to install it again. So I install SuperAwesomeApp no problem. I uninstall SuperAwesomeApp. Now, no matter how many times I go to the app store, or try to side load, or what have you SuperAwesomeApp, it always ends with an error message telling me insufficient storage available. Reboots do nothing to alleviate the problem.
Now, obviously one solution is not to install things and later change my mind and want them back. But, I'm a fickle man, and I'm not sure why I'm unable to ever re-install an application. Obviously, I have gigs upon gigs available (11.2gb internal, 12.24 sd card).

its an ics problem, i have the same thing, say right now i cant install certain apps for that ive un-installed and when i attempt to install it says insufficient storage, sometimes if you go to recovery and wipe your dalvik-cache it will fix the problem......however
however on the second time of doin this something changed and now everytime i start the tab i get "optimizing apps for android" civv recommends a fresh restart and try not to use titanium backup if possible.
Ah, thanks for the info. After I set up this ROM I did my first ever CWM backup. Thinking the whole time, I'll never need this, but it doesn't hurt. Well, aren't I a happy camper today to actually use it and have the problem fixed. Well, not the underlying problem, but at least I'm back to first-time installations.

Just Installed the patch and everything is working perfect. Awesome work.

Just wanted to say thanks once again for all that you do.
Yesterday I used my tablet to stream 6+ hours of a live HD flash video stream from a music festival while at work.
It handled it flawlessly.
Also I should mention that at my work they block all live streams over wifi, so the for the whole time I had it streaming video it was wireless tethered to my rooted droid incredible 2 over 3g on Verizon.
The only issues I encountered were due to connection issues with my phone.
Just updated to rev 4 about an hour ago and no problems at all so far. Sweet.

Clear cache of superuser , settings/apps/.....,
No problems here and I flashed that patch 4 times for testing it.

I was just about to write the same!
It was running fine after applying the patch4 for an hour or so, but now no more WiFi, when trying to connect, first it get stuck for a long time on "obtaining IP address" and after says "Avoided poor Internet connection"...
Should we go back and apply patch3 (if possible) until the problem with WiFi is resolved?

As I already mentioned this is my goodbye to the active community.

You can use all the aroma packages of the flexreaper rom and kernels from the OP.
CUSTOM RELIX bootloader V8 cwm flashable , only for V4 and up ICS bootloader users)
