You still can use Hdmi with lcd monitor or tv set...

But it works on phone only too.

Download the file to pc, than put it in /sdcard/wishnu

256m heapsize and heating

Been running for a few hours on faux's 1.3GHz 24 r2 kernel and VM Heap set to 256m. It's running great for me.

So nice to have a new GB build, rather than a non working 4.2 build (for me).

Thanks

Hi there mate i am actually trying this rom on the kernel you are using .. but my device is heating up not boiling but it is sill kind of uncomfortable in your hands... do you downclock it to 1000 or you keep it at 1300... ? i am using mine on 1100 .. still heats up but not that much.

Also what about the heapsize 256m ... i can only see 64m max in mine ... under performance settings

So far so good this rom is cool .. i just flashed it 15 mins ago.. :)

Oh another thing i forgot .. do i need to flash any battery fix on this rom .. my battery seems a bit weird at the moment ?

Please get back to me someone ..maybe i should just keep it on original kernel :(

Have you edited the build.prop to reflect 256? OC does put more strain on the battery, might be what you're seeing. Wipe battery stats, install ravilov's battery fix app.

I used RomToolbox to manually edit the VMHeap size. I've been using it set to 1300, no undervolting, but also no huge use or gaming.

Nice one mate thanks for the info... between I want to know/ask if its necessary to have this option selected ? Because when I googled this ... some people are saying its not important .. and its probabely for hardcore users etc... I installed this rom with faux 1.3 oc kernel but I downclocked to 1.1 coz of heating ..... since then its been really smooth and relaxed .... I got a fix for the battery by a user in the above post ..

I have 2 issues which I am still reading through the forum to solve ...

1. The wifi takes about 1 min to wake up after I unlock the device... but I can toggle wifi to wake up.
2. I use ultimate backup to backup up my system settings, call logs, messages etc .... but everytime I restore an app it fc after restoring the app ..... even in the MRom it did that ... maybe not compatible with cm7 :(

But a nice rom no doubt.... really good

For wifi I think you select "never" in the settings of the standby wifi in the advanced options

I activate the option and I turn on wifi when I need it. the output standby if my wifi is on I instantly access the wifi at the exit standby ... for other options, I need more explanation please :)

1) issue that phone freezes after unplug from pc. It doesn't happen on GB-Rom
possible to have a bit more explanation ? steps to disconnect the PC are respected ? is from where ? starting with android , ubuntu noroot or Wishnu?

    hello all :)

I share this rom I do, just for fun,
this rom has no frills, just a change,
just a small contribution to the community :p

Based on the official ROM CyanogenMod 7.2 (cm-7-20130301-NIGHTLY-olympus) ,
the kernel is original , this rom is just for fun, this is a slightly modified CM7.2 ,
You can use a debian distribution with this rom:
    LXDE and XFCE

    Some info:
    launcher S3 : http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=2176538
    change audio: all sounds S4
    add a few applications
add wallpapers: system / media / add
    deletions of some applications
    good battery life
CM10 boot of CM7 because it is not pretty ...

    Downloads :
    -Rom : http://d-h.st/zem
    -Gapps-CyanSGM : http://d-h.st/kRG
    -Gapps-CyanSGM with youtube : http://d-h.st/cW6

    Installation:
    1-Wipe data / factory reset
    2-Wipe cache partition
    3-Adanced, Wipe Dalvik Cache
4-Install from (the place where you put the rom)
5-Reboot, set to your sauce, enter your username google
6-Reboot and to complete the installation, install the following three apk :
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.digitalportal.floatingwebbrowser&hl=fr
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=name.dohkoos.rootuninstaller&hl=fr

To return to the normal version of CyanogenMod 7.2 official, is simple:
Full wipe, flash the latest up to date official CyanogenMod and gapps
applications that have been deleted can be reinstall :
copy in system/app/ , change permissions and reboot

    Original Rom CyanogenMod 7.2 :
    http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=olympus
    Original Gapps :
    http://goo.im/gapps

    Tips :
-remove the icon sms office and place the icon sms from applications
-disable it in the settings of the desktop "shake to change wallpapers"
-after installation, go to system / app / and give the user any rights launcher and reboot :
that all options be op launcher

    Using LXDE:
Start Wishnu and click system status , click check ,
Normally everything is good except system image,
you must click on fix and upload the image,
after you have to open and extract the image,
so connect the atrix to pc
move or copy the file to download on the PC and extract the contents ...
place the file in the content folder Wishnu sd card
    (file name: system.img)
when this is done, run the application, check everything is ok :
Click Start , all the lights are green , Show Wishnu Desktop ,
and here you are in the office :)

Just had to share this,as I nearly got 47 hours out of one charge. It was light use with about 2 hours of podcast listening, wifi always on, a few short calls and Facebook running.

Its the longest my Atrix has ever lasted on one charge.
