CM11 is great, fast, responsive and smoth, but I have one problem...my favorite browser UC Browser wont work. After I started app, homescreen is here, but after load first page everyting gone, and only show picture, like wallpaper of app. I cant find any other similar browser with such a briliant options like smart zooming or navigate back and forward with sliide left-right and extremly fast page load speed.

Using ART or Dalvik VM?

Dalvik, I don't try ART because many people say that dalvik is more responsive and faster

As average user - i'm really surprised with my NEW phone (own 995 for 1,5 y) Both version (bagusyz&jinxx) works extremly well. Tried gps (igo primo nav) on bagusyz's version, got signal fixed after 7, 8 sec :D, didn't try bt,but someone posted it does not work (atm my bt headset is broken). I was thinking that time is came to change the phone, but after flashing cm 11, well - no need to change. On jinxx version scrool issue is less noticable. Will see in next few days, but for now only "-" for jinxx version is cwm (bootble only from pc). One app that is not working on cm11 is on call end (back to homescreen upon ending call). Someone have any ideas? Everything else is 10/10. :good::highfive::cowboy:

As there are many roms, Cm 10.1,10.2,mokee,11, h1n1 and ICS+, etc. Which one in your opinion would be the best for every day use and with a decent battery live.(I have a 1750mAh not that it makes much of a difference, it would be nice to buy the 3200 mAh but it's not available anymore.

Well mainly texting and do 2-3 calls a day and play some games, I currently have CM10.2(Not the latest release, the one before that I think) And I'm getting about almost 1,5 days. In your experience, in those roms which ones would you classify has the best having in mind Features or performance/Battery, I noticed some people are saying that CM11 is stupidly fast but battery life might be very short, correct ?

Well I finally flashed the latest cm11...... and it is great.
The android version is 4.4.2 while in the earlier release it was 4.4.1.
The status bar is not transparent :/
I don't know why doesn't the recent apps tab show any previews :(
Otherwise, the rom is just fantastic..... <3 it :p

Battery life on CM11 is reasonable... not bad at all. I still don't get as much as 4 or 5 hours ScreenON time, but i got a 24hours per charge and i'm satisfied with it (i'm referring to the CM11 that Fonix232 shared, and was made by Jinxxed).
If you are OK with CM10.2, then try the latest release.
AOKP is fast and stable too. Look into the ROM matrix to find the download links.

So, here you go, an ICS backup flashable using CWM - works on any bootloader version.

    1. Flash or boot CWM
    2. Backup your existing firmware (important)
    3. Download: CWM-flashable ICS FR
    4. Store the alcatel_ics_fr directory on SD as /clockworkmod/backup/alcatel_ics_fr/
    5. Use CWM's backup and restore -> restore -> alcatel_ics_fr to restore the image
    6. Choose data/factory reset to clear your data partition

Edit: the old warning about WiFi nvram is not an issue.

Rooting hint: the zip also contains boot_root.img, boot it using fastboot (fastboot boot boot_root.img) to get an easy adb root shell.

Many thanks to Lymnoreia for the clean backup.

After some silence, I'm here to give you something, guys. Jinxxed did it, again. A brand new build of CM-11.0, fresh from the oven, with his own kernel (version was stuck at 3.0.101 for some reason, but it is actually 3.5, contains updated drivers, no more outdated legacy stuff), reworked most of the stuff, etc.

Pretty good scores on Antutu (6321 on first try).

Please note that this is still in Alpha, and a lot of changes will come in the future. If you find any bugs, please report!
