Umm.. i have already included the statusbar and the navigation bar gradient. And yes, its a bit messy in some of the apps. I guess because of the Holo light theme. what if i edit the Holo light background to make it black in the statusbar area? ;)

Talk with ATTACK, he will help you ;) But I love the 4.4 Status Bar gradient, even with this little problem :highfive:

Marco Marinho

Your ROM is awesome! Running it as daily driver and it works great (despite those few bugs as google search etc.). But all the benefits from CM 10.1 and the KitKat appearance makes it a very special and wonderful ROM!

Thanks for your work :)

For increasing internal, u can use scripts like int2ext or data2ext etc.
Can find the solution in the last part of this post.

Correction and Observation:

The GoogleSearch I had restored from Titanium was not the 4.4 version. Why it worked as it did. Sorry. (that 2.* version never supported UI for teams and flights and stuff so how I got that now, I do not know--this ALL should have implemented server-side in HTML5 but tell Google what to do!)

So I placed the 4.4 version, regular jni_1, etc. Here is the scoop:
Using any other launcher, GoogleSearch will FC immediately. No exceptions, apparently. Booo.
Firing up ITS launcher, it will come up, even attempt to initialize its speech recognition. Won't get there. It will FC often but one can get search results. It did not work at all with the Voice Search Assistant. The interface between the searchbox and the launcher is very flakey.

Reported on another thread: Play pushed an upgrade to GoogleSearch and bang: No more launcher. Here is the skinny: This launcher/search marriage is for the Nexus. Apparently not for general Kitkat on other phones. So ultimately, one might need to sideload recent GoogleSearch and install launcher3.apk to get the Kitkat launcher feel. There is a socalled "internation version" on XDA, might be worth a try for a more recent Google Now.

IF the thing were more stable on the launcher, I might go with that, adjusting the DPI for better results. Otherwise, I am tempted to go back to what I had which was at least stable. BTW, the best way to get voice into the thing is using swype's dragon input. Must hit search to use but it is quick, most accurate and I wish that engine were exposed to other programs (Nuendo, after all :) !

Can you explain a bit more about it?

Sent from a device running KitKat ;)

Apparently KitKat has two photo programs, the usual Gallery and Photos. Photos (from what I read) is less capable.

My experience with the Camera apk: Similar to older one, like the UI, but missing HDR and photosphere.

The first one is implemented in the second. Patches are coming soon. Patches are even smaller flashable zips to be flashed after the current update. No need to download updates anymore. ;)

    Tips:
    • To enable Google now in home screen, go to home, settings and turn on Google Now
    • To get better UI and UX, change the density from 160 to 145.
    • To see Android version as 4.4 in About phone, change the Android version in build.prop to 4.4.
    • To get better Ui and UX with updated Android version, do both the steps.
*To get back original values, revert the changes.

    Downloads:

    Base ROM

    Installation:
    • Download the Zip and place it in your SD card
    • Reboot into recovery
    • Wipe everything (Not necessary for CM10.1.5 or 10.1.6 but recommended)
    • Then flash the zip in your SD card
    • After it is completed, reboot it (First boot can take a bit of time, as long as 10 mins. So have patience)
    • Enjoy! :D
